Byron Stuart hosted Greg Brown, Todd Snider, Canned Heat, Kinky Friedman, and more troubadours than a venue ten times its size, guaranteeing every performer pizza, respect, and a night in the Rockwell City motel. When Byron's old bar faced the wrecking ball, Iowa showed its real self.
